Brad, welcome! When you get inworld, be sure to find your way to the center of the HQ building and click on the Docent Calendar (or click here: http://tinyurl.com/7x4yqq) to see when you might find an ISTE volunteer there to assist you. Even if no one is scheduled, there is a good chance you will find some folks to chat with. Looking for anything in specific? How can we help? -kj-

Hi Robin,

First thing I'd do would be to get in touch with the folks at your school who are responsible for the island. Chances are they are going to be your best hope of face to face support for your project. Next thing would be to join the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) in Second Life. It's free and will connect you with educators just like yourself. Finally, look up SLOAN-C in Second Life as well, they are also all about education, but for higher ed, and may be of help. Beyond that, get into SL yourself and start exploring! Good luck!

I am working on my propsectus and final project for my MA in Art Education. My final project is to create an undergraduate course in Art Appreciation. I am unsure of how or where to begin to build an online course in SL. I attend Texas Women's University. they own an island and iut is my hope that my course would be included in their island. Any help would be appreciated.

Sincerely,
Robin
